OCTOBER Meeting Summary

The October Meeting has a number of guests present including representatives from the
Avon Grove Charter School, Assumption B.V.M. School, and the American Red Cross. There was a general discussion around expanding
the membership of AGREM to include the Charter and Assumption Schools. The Red Cross representative provided a detailed
         overview of services as well.

The October POD drill was discussed -- this will be a second-time event and AGREM was asked once
again to participate in an Emergency Management Coordinating capacity. As with last year's drill, the
intention is to evaluate the speed at which people can flow through the POD and identify additional
         areas for process improvement.

An after-action review of the October POD drill will be conducted at the November AGREM meeting.

2007 Points of Distribution Drill

October POD Drill Scheduled for AGHS and AGREM.

A POD drill is planned for October. This will be the
second time this event has been conducted. The drill this year will include the
Avon Grove School District flu-shot program for faculty and staff, and there
will be an open period for members of the public as well.

Similar to last year, AGREM will be a participating partner providing
Emergency Management Coordination at the event. Other key partners are the Chester County Health
Department, and numerous volunteers from the school student body and the surrounding community.

SEPTEMBER Meeting Summary

The September Meeting was the get back to business meeting for AGREM after the summer break.

Action items from last May were reviewed, and it was reported that the propane generator was purchased
and installed. Several key individuals participated in not only procuring the generator and getting it
shipped, but they also donated time and effort to get it installed and functional. The generator will
be a key factor in maintaining AGREM communications in the event of a prolonged power outage.

Karl from CCDES presented information regarding the new Emeergency Operations Plan template that
has been published by the state. After a problem with the initial CD images, new ones have been made
and will be distributed to all of the municipalities. The EOP provides the basic information necessary
to conduct emergency management operations for the municipality during a disaster.

Once the EOP's are updated for each municipality member of AGREM, a single resolution for acceptance
of the revised EOP's will be distributed to all township supervisors for re-approval. With the pending
elections in November of new supervisors, the resolution and new EOPs will not be prepared until after
         the election results are finalized.
